I love to act. It's fun to put myself in someone else's shoes, to play a character. It's like playing dress up. Acting was my sister Haylie's idea. She's an actress too as well as my best friend. My mom and dad have sacrificed a lot so we can do what we love. My dad has a business in Texas, where I grew up, and still lives there. He visits us in Los Angeles every three weeks. My mom, sister and I go home to Texas for Christmas and summers. I get to work by 7 a.m., eat breakfast, get my hair and makeup done and go over lines. I usually do three or four scenes a day. While the crew sets up between scenes, I go to school. I have to get in a total of 31/2 hours of school every day. We have lunch at 1 p.m., then I get my hair and makeup touched up. We finish around 4 p.m. I do homework after work. I also take hip-hop and vocal lessons. I love to sing.
When I first started acting, it was hard to memorize lines. But now, I can generally look at something once and memorize it. This Saturday, I'll be doing a live performance with the L.A. Master Chorale. It will be so different from filming. There will be 3,000 people staring at me! When you do something live, you only get one chance to do it right. I don't want to forget my lines, so I've been practicing every night!
I definitely want to go to college, maybe here or in Texas. After college, I'll come back to L.A. because acting is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Aaron Carter may have thousands of screaming girls dying for a kiss on the cheek from the pop prince himself, but recently, rumors are circulating that his kisses only go to one girl in particular. That lucky little lady is "Lizzie McGuire" star Hilary Duff. It turns out this time the rumors are true and Aaron did in fact date Hilary. However, according to his publicity team at Jive Records, the little Carter is no longer attached to Duff.
Their relationship consisted of a few dates here and there, but Aaron and Hilary never had a serious commitment going. The two stars originally met back in March when Aaron appeared as a guest star on "Lizzie McGuire." You can rejoice, girls. Aaron is single again.
